2-Min Reset : Nervous System
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how WellNest Apps ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the mobile application 2-Min Reset : Nervous System (the "App"). The App offers short, guided exercises designed to help you calm and regulate your nervous system in about two minutes.
The App is built privacy-first: it requires no account, contains no advertising, offers no in-app purchases, and keeps all of your progress on your device only. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide: the App does not require registration and does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal contact details.
Information stored on your device only:
- Progress data: your completed sessions, streaks, favorites, and any in-app preferences are stored only on your device. They are never uploaded to our servers, we cannot see or access them, and they are not shared with anyone. Deleting the App (or clearing its data in Android settings) permanently deletes this data.
Information collected automatically: the App uses two Google Firebase services that may automatically collect limited, non-identifying technical data:
- App activity — such as which screens you view and which exercises you start or complete (collected as anonymized usage events by Firebase Analytics);
- App info and performance — crash logs, stack traces, and diagnostics that help us find and fix bugs (collected by Firebase Crashlytics);
- Device or other identifiers — a randomly generated app-instance identifier and basic device information (model, OS version) used by Firebase to group analytics and crash reports.
This data is encrypted in transit. We do not collect your location, contacts, files, health measurements, or any personal identifiers, and we cannot use the collected data to personally identify you.
3. How We Use Information
- To operate, maintain, and improve the App;
- To diagnose crashes and fix technical problems;
- To understand which exercises and features are most helpful so we can make the App better.
4. No Advertising & No In-App Purchases
The App currently contains no advertising of any kind and offers no in-app purchases. No advertising SDKs are integrated, and your device's advertising ID is not used. If this ever changes in a future version, we will update this Privacy Policy and the App's Google Play Data safety listing before the change takes effect.
5. Analytics & Crash Reporting
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to collect anonymized usage statistics, and Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and diagnostics. These are the only third-party services integrated in the App. You can read how Google processes this data in the Google Privacy Policy and Firebase Privacy documentation.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. The limited technical data described above is processed only by Google Firebase acting as our service provider, under its own privacy commitments. We may disclose information if required to do so by law.
7. Data Security
Automatically collected data is encrypted in transit using industry-standard protocols (HTTPS/TLS). Your progress data never leaves your device.
8. Data Retention & Deletion
- On-device data (progress, streaks, preferences) remains on your device until you delete it, clear the App's data in Android settings, or uninstall the App.
- Analytics and crash data is retained by Google according to its own retention policies and is aggregated/anonymized. Because we do not collect personal identifiers, we are unable to locate and delete data tied to a specific individual.
9. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
10. Wellness Disclaimer
The App provides general relaxation and wellness exercises for educational purposes only. It is not medical or mental-health advice, and it is not a substitute for professional diagnosis or treatment. If you are experiencing severe anxiety, panic, or any other health condition, please seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something in the App.
11. Your Rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR in the European Union or the CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Because the App collects no directly identifying personal data, most of these rights can be exercised simply by clearing the App's data — but you can always contact us with any request or question.
12. Third-Party Links
The App or this website may contain links to third-party sites and services (such as Google Play). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties and encourage you to review their policies.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — including if a future version of the App adds features such as advertising or in-app purchases. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
